Shipping Policy

Processing Time: We typically process and ship orders within 3–5 business days. As a small, often one-person operation, we put care into every package that leaves our shop. During busy seasons or product launches, processing times may occasionally stretch a bit longer. We appreciate your patience and promise it's worth the wait.

Shipping Methods & Rates: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order weight and destination. We ship via USPS from Cumberland, Maryland.

Order Tracking: Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your package on its way to you.

Shipping Destinations: We currently ship within the United States. If you're outside the U.S. and interested in an order, reach out to us and we'll do our best to work something out.

Lost or Delayed Packages: If your tracking shows delivery but you haven't received your order, or if your package appears to be lost in transit, please contact us at returns@mtnmdtradingpost.com. We'll work with you and the carrier to resolve it.

Local Pickup: If you're in the Cumberland area, local pickup is available at our shop on Baltimore Street. Just select "Local Pickup" at checkout and we'll have your order ready for you.

Return Policy

Eligibility:
  • Only items purchased directly from Mountain Maryland Trading Post are eligible for return.
  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Certain items, such as perishable goods or personalized items, may not be eligible for return. Please refer to our product listings for specific details.

Timeframe:

  • Customers have 45 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return.
  • After 45 days, unfortunately, we cannot accept returns.

Return Process:

  • To initiate a return, customers must contact our customer support team at returns@mtnmdtradingpost.com to request a return authorization.
  • Once the return is approved, customers will receive further instructions, including the return address.
  • Customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Refunds:

  • Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
  • If approved, we will process the refund within 7 business days.
  • The refund will be issued in the original form of payment unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Exchanges:

  • We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return and place a new order.

Exceptions:

  • The following items are non-returnable:
    • Perishable goods
    • Personalized or custom-made items
    • Gift cards

Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We will provide instructions on how to return the item, and upon receipt, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund.

Final Sale Items:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" are not eligible for return or refund.

Changes to the Return Policy:

  • We reserve the right to modify or update our return policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to customers via our website or other appropriate channels.
