Mountain Maryland Trading Post is a modern general store rooted in Cumberland, Maryland. We create and curate goods that celebrate the people, places, and stories of our region.

Located on Baltimore Street in the heart of downtown, our shop is built around connection. We hear stories every day. From folks who grew up here. From travelers passing through. From families who have called these mountains home for generations. Those conversations shape what you see on our shelves.

We design and produce many of our items in-house. That includes hand-poured candles, laser-engraved goods, and small-batch pieces inspired by local landmarks, Appalachian culture, and the everyday beauty of Western Maryland. From cutting boards and coasters to ornaments, earrings, and keepsakes, each piece is made with intention.
